Li Ka Shing Foundation Donates 110 Mln yuan to Assist
Education Reconstruction in Sichuan Quake-hit Areas
The education project in Sichuan quake-hit areas which gets 110 million yuan
donation from Li Ka Shing Foudation was formally launched in Chengdu University
of Information Technology on Mar 25, which will benefit 36,000 teachers and
students in Sichuan quake-hit areas. Huang Yanrong, vice governor of Sichuan
Province, attended the launching ceremony.
List of 19 Macao-Aided Projects in PhaseⅡof
GroupⅠAnnounced
The total sum involved in the 19 Macao-aided projects in the 2nd Phase of the
1st Group amounted to 938 million yuan, including 18 schools and a sports
center, as learned from the Sichuan-Macao post-quake reconstruction coordination
mechanism conference held on 30th March. Vice Governor & Member of CPC Sichuan
Provincial Committee, Wei Hong, attended and addressed the conference.

Sichuan Province has made one step further in nuclear power development. With
the active efforts of all social sectors to incorporate the first phase of
Sichuan’s nuclear power project into the national mid-and-long-term schemes for
nuclear power development
